Anco started his commercial career in the yachting industry in 2000 after graduating in strategic marketing studies. He held key sales & marketing positions at several industry leaders and established a large network. Recognising that the dynamic maritime sector requires a very specific commercial approach, Anco started AK marketeers in 2007.
Together with his team, he has supported a considerable number of brands with realising their strategies and the development of a successful mix of marketing tools. Taking a hands-on approach, Anco is experienced at overseeing the implementation of these strategies, ensuring his clients achieve a maximum return on their marketing investment.
As a keen sailor, Onno realised in 2004 that his knowledge and experience in sales and marketing could make a difference in the yachting industry. Since then he has held various commercial positions in the maritime sector, realised assignments for industry leaders and established an extensive international network.
Led by his personal convictions to think from the client’s perspective, Onno developed a refreshing and practical approach to strategic and commercial issues in the yachting industry.
After obtaining a degree in journalism, Merlijn started her nautical career in 2007 as a desk editor at Yacht Vision magazine, where she learned the basics of the world of motor and sailyachts. She was quickly promoted to editor-in-chief and also started working on production activities for the Yacht Vision television show.
After various marketing and communication positions at several watersport-related companies and shipyards, Merlijn joined AK marketeers in 2015. As account project manager she is responsible for the operational marketing activities of our clients.
As creative director, Jasper is responsible for the ideas, creative concepts, effective communication and implementation based on the AK strategic marketing plans. He has extensive experience in the field of concept development, logo & corporate identity development, corporate communication, graphic design, web design and realization for nationally and internationally operating companies in the luxury yachting industry.
His strengths are translating marketing strategies into appealing creative concepts that fit within the culture of our clients with a strong focus on the intended target group. He has a degree from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and is member of the Dutch Designers Association (BNO)
